Oakland International Airport (IATA: OAK, ICAO: KOAK, FAA LID: OAK) is in Oakland, California, United States, about 10 miles (16 km) south of Downtown Oakland and across from San Francisco on the other side of San Francisco Bay. It is owned by the Port of Oakland and has passenger flights to cities in the United States, Mexico, and the Azores with cargo destinations in China and Japan. Oakland International Airport covers 2,600 acres (1,100 ha).
