Portland International Airport is a joint civil-military airport and the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon. Situated south of the Columbia River in the county of Multnomah, Portland International Airport offers flights to Canada, Japan, Mexico, and the Netherlands. It is a hub for SkyWest Airlines for flights to smaller cities in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, and Nevada, as well as for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.
The airport has one main terminal building which is H-shaped and five concourses. Concourses A, B, and C are on the south side of the terminal and concourses D and E are on the north; the two sides are connected beyond security checkpoints by a walkway. The airport offers services including free Wi-Fi wireless Internet access, a children’s play area, and postal services. There is also the provision of tax-free shopping in the airport’s mall.
