Unalaska Airport is a civil airport which lies in the Unalaska city on Amaknak Island in the Aleutian Islands, off the coast of the Alaska State, United States of America. It is situated at a distance of 50 miles (80 km) from the Great Circle route to the Orient on the Bering Sea coast of Unalaska Island.
Since, officially the City of Unalaska’s port is named as Dutch Harbor, this airport is thus also called as Dutch Harbor Airport. It was also renamed as Tom Madsen Airport in 2002.
It is a small airport and comprises of only a single runway with few airlines. A very small number of flights are scheduled here because of low traffic.
