Los Angeles International Airport or LAX as it is commonly known is the busiest airport in California. Nestled along the Pacific Coast, LAX is situated 16 miles off in the southwestern area near Westchester. The airport primary serves the Greater Los Angeles Area. Spread over an area of 3500 acres, Los Angeles International Airport has nine passenger terminals, spread as a horse-shoe, that take care of passenger as well as cargo traffic. All the terminals are connected via a shuttle bus service. Owing to the airport’s proximity to the Ocean, flights usually get delayed (due to fog or low-lying clouds) and at times have to be diverted almost 50 miles away to LA/Ontario International Airport.
